Heartfelt Moments in Spring: Bo’s Journey with Tea & Grace

Amid spring’s calm, Bo shares honest moments of gratitude, small joys, and a heartfelt dream to bring comfort and care through every cup of tea.

Spring's Excitement and the Simple Joys of Daily Life 🌿

Hello everyone! 🌱 Mid-May, and the world is filled with fresh greenery after the gentle spring rain. The verdant views outside my window bring a natural sense of peace these days. With a cup of jasmine tea by my side, I'm truly grateful to be sharing my heart with you all once again.

Where I find myself these days - A Small Pause in a Busy Life

These days, my nail salon has become especially busy with graduation and wedding seasons overlapping. Additionally, I've been spending time caring for those who are unwell around me, making for some rather hectic days. Despite this, I've finally started the newsletter that has been weighing on my mind. I picked up my pen again, encouraged by messages from those who find comfort and courage in my stories.

Even the moments when we stumble are part of the journey we’re meant to walk.

My tea blending project is honestly progressing more slowly than anticipated. Meetings with manufacturers haven't gone quite as planned, and I've experienced being deprioritized for being a small brand. But I believe all of this is a valuable part of my journey. This time has actually allowed me to learn more deeply and given me space to catch my breath before moving forward again.

A Big Heart in a Small Brand

I've learned so much over the past five years since starting my e-commerce business after the pandemic. Now, I want to go beyond simply selling products and infuse my brand with values I truly believe in and love. That's how my tea business began.

Initially, I focused on researching menopause tea, but now I want to broaden my vision to create teas for women of all ages. Soothing teas for pregnant women, blends to support women's health before menopause, and special blends for peace after menopause—I've grown passionate about creating teas that accompany women through every life stage.

This isn't just about products; it's about my sincere desire to bring physical and mental wellbeing to all women. I believe that healthy communication starting with us women can spread to our families and communities, creating a brighter and healthier world. I want to experience it myself first, share that experience, and grow together with you all.

As a small brand owner, managing everything alone can sometimes feel overwhelming. I'm learning to navigate unfamiliar social media platforms one by one, keeping up with the changing times. Though I'm still developing my skills, I'm moving forward one step at a time with sincerity.

Above all, God remains at the center of my work. It's easy to become hasty when there's a lot to do, but I find that focusing on just one or two tasks a day and moving slowly works better for me. I live each day hoping that someday God will say, "Though it wasn't an easy path, you walked it well."

A Special Cup of Tea to Welcome Summer

This week, I reached out to various tea blending companies with renewed energy, gathering information and requesting new samples. I have higher expectations for these samples as I continue my deeper study of herbs. I plan to share the samples with my precious nail salon customers and friends to collect valuable feedback. I sincerely hope that someday I can gift a comforting cup of tea to all of you reading this.

As we head toward summer, I'd like to share my refreshing herbal tea recipe that I've been enjoying lately. It's a special blend that nurtures both mental peace and physical health:

Refreshing Blueberry Hibiscus Herbal Tea

A sweet and calming tea to enjoy on a sunny May afternoon.

Ingredients:
Dried hibiscus or Tea bag
4 cups boiling water
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
3 cups cold water
1–2 tbsp lime juice
Fresh herbs (mint, lavender, lemon balm, butterfly pea flower, rose hips)
Optional: 1 tsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Steep hibiscus and crush blueberries in boiling water for 15 mins.

  2. Strain and mix with cold water, lime juice, and honey.

  3. Add herbs and ice. Garnish with mint or flowers if desired.

Putting Heart into Small Things

This week too, I'll place God at the center of my life and approach even small tasks with sincerity as I move forward step by step. I believe that moments of falling down and getting back up are all precious parts of our journey.

I believe that women's health leads to family health, which in turn leads to a healthy society. With the belief that we can all create a healthier and brighter world together, I aim to fill each cup of tea with care and love. Though it's a small beginning, I believe that when these warm hearts gather, they can create even more beautiful changes.

I sincerely hope your days are filled with warm sunshine and deep peace. Let's meet again next week!

May your May be filled with beauty in communication 🌸

With love,
Bo, UR Happy Place
