Blossoming Miracles: Finding True Blessings in Unexpected Kindness

Here, we're receiving a grateful autumn rain that's gently moistening all the nature that had been dry for so long. Just like this timely rain, I'm deeply grateful to God the Father who lifts me up whenever I stumble or grow weary in life, and for the 'timely' helping hands He sends through people.

I'm writing this newsletter to share with you a sincere and moving story we experienced while preparing our precious BLOSSOM women's hormone tea. Throughout this small journey toward our dream, I've learned deep in my heart that 'there are truly many good people in the world,' and when I believe and trust that there are God's gifts working beyond the reality before my eyes, I've experienced even more deeply those amazing moments when He responds to that faith.

I hope our story becomes a warm seed that helps you discover the miracle of 'benefactors' in your own life, and I'll share that journey with you now.

1. The Regulatory Barrier at the Edge of a Cliff

Our carefully prepared BLOSSOM tea. As we were preparing the packaging and labeling to soon introduce this tea filled with sincerity for women's bodies and recovery, we hit an unexpected major barrier.

Our tea is not simply a 'tea beverage' but is classified as a DIETARY SUPPLEMENT containing ingredients for women's health. According to this classification, we needed not only OEFFA ORGANIC, USDA, and ODA organic certifications but also FDA approval. Furthermore, the manufacturer packaging this product also had to be registered with the FDA.

The problem was that most small manufacturers in the United States often register with the Department of Agriculture (ODA) but don't register with the FDA due to the complex and demanding inspection process.

At this rate, my manufacturer wouldn't be able to package my tea. Since the GMP certification documents required for Amazon listing also required FDA registration as a prerequisite, I truly felt like I had hit a wall. I pondered and prayed through many days and nights about how to navigate this situation.

Since I had proceeded with my wish to create this BLOSSOM tea with a company within the United States from the start, it was a time of learning and trial and error. But above all, I couldn't let down Maureen, the manufacturer's owner, who believed in my heart to prepare a community for women's health and happiness as someone starting a small business like me, and willingly offered to help. As someone who believes that 'there are blessings in relationships,' I decided to go a little slower, dreaming of greater value than what was visible for the moment.

Eventually, when my heart collapsed after drastically revising my goals, I could only pray amid my anxiety.

2. A Miracle Through Tears: The Blessing of 'Sincerity' (The Breakthrough)

And a few days later, I received what felt like a miraculous message.

An email from a manufacturer employee read:

"Dear Bo, FDA registration is complete. Now we just need to get CGMP inspection, and since the person who does ODA (Department of Agriculture) inspection also does FDA inspection, there shouldn't be any major issues. And we'll contact you as soon as we hear from OEFFA, USDA Organic Certification, so contact the packaging company and place your packaging order."

Such warm emotion filled my heart with joy and moved me deeply. They had readily opened their time and heart to the regulatory process for me, a small seller.

With this, BLOSSOM tea has gone through the complex FDA registration process and is soon facing CGMP inspection. This process goes beyond simply overcoming regulations—it proves the highest authority on my sincerity about this tea and the product's quality and safety. All of this is thanks to the benefactors who recognized and believed in our sincerity.

3. The Continuing Miracle of Benefactors (The Kindred Spirits)

The miracle of gratitude didn't stop there. Let me introduce you to other warm-hearted people who opened their hearts for me.

Warm Packaging Expert, Jessica Joe: Working with a small tea manufacturer meant I had to research packaging myself. I had been building trust with Jessica Joe, an employee at a company in Texas, through emails, Zoom meetings, and phone calls for over two months. When I sent a business email about these regulations, instead of a cold business response, Jessica sent a warm reply saying "Times of careful and sincere work like Bo's will bear fruit," and that she was praying for BLOSSOM tea to be introduced to the world soon. I felt like I was experiencing a beautiful blossom of relationships even in all business matters.

FedEx's Toni: Besides the women's hormone tea, I was working with another Texas manufacturer on delicious and fragrant seasonal teas, but I was discouraged because I couldn't match the unit price due to label minimum order quantities (MOQ). Toni, a FedEx employee I asked on a whim, understood a small seller's heart and actively helped. The label price he offered was even cheaper than ordering from China and much cheaper than printing companies here in the US. I hadn't had high expectations, but the heart to 'ask once more with courage' was made possible through Toni's open heart, and Toni was so happy to be able to help me. I realized once again that there are many wonderful people in the world who work hard at their jobs and find joy in helping others. I gifted her teas that was already available out of gratitude, and Toni, who still calls me 'Sweetie,' has become a friend I'm grateful for and want to see more.

And the love calls from my longtime nail salon customers who watched and cheered through this whole process! The passionate interest continues with questions like "When can we taste BLOSSOM tea?" and "I want to set it up as a year-end gift."

The endless interest and encouragement from community leaders I study with, and the support from my most beloved family—my sister, my husband, and my friends—are also great sources of strength. Thank you all.

This journey made me realize that this tea is no longer just my product. It's a precious gift filled with the love and faith of everyone who opened their hearts and willingly rolled up their sleeves for me.
